Dogs! Dogs! Dogs!

Boston

Hello. My name is Boston and I am named after the town that I was abandoned and saved in, “New Boston”. My horrible owners dropped me off in middle of the road in the country when I was barely six weeks old. It was just me and my brother, Kingston, cuddled up together in below freezing whether. If my foster mom and dad wouldn’t have found me I would have froze to death or got ate by coyotes. After, a long ride in the car we came to Lancaster where I knew we would be safe. My foster parents thought we stunk so they gave us a nice, warm bath. It felt so good! After I got a bath I ate and drank like I never have before then played and played and played some more. After two days being in Lancaster some nice guy came and took my brother to live with him. I was a little sad but I was happy that he went to a good home. Now, I hear he is getting along fine and becoming best friends with a CAT!! Since, he has been gone I have been getting attached to my foster brother, Myles. He is a dog that looks like my dad or big brother. You will see a picture of me and him together. I really love my foster family and they love me but they are busy and already have two other dogs to take care of. They said the only way I can stay is if they can’t find a good family to take me home where I will be safe and happy. People are helping them out with me right now. A nice woman got me a case of dog food, and another nice lady got me a flea pill and another one to take with me to my new family, and my foster parents have already treated me for worms. I come with a lot of energy, love, and lots and lots of nibbles on the ears. I love other animals and I love being babied. So if you or anyone you know want a little guy like me around you can call my foster parents, Jessica and Terry, at 740-277-7910. Email this to any nice, animal loving person you know. I don’t want any meanies!!
PS. I sleep in a cage and I stay in there when I’m home alone. I also go potty outside as long as you take me!!

Riley

Riley is around 8 years old female, fixed. She loves to ride in the truck, run and play. Riley is great with older kids who can play fetch but does not like to be ridden like a horse. Our 22 month can take treats out her mouth and she does not react, but when she tries to lay on top of her or ride her she has turned and growled. Riley will chase stray animals that come into the yard. She is inside most nights, but likes to stay out when the weather is cool. Call Connie at 740-332-6937.

Hello Everyone,

It’s me, Baby Girl. I wanted to update you on my progress. I’ve been with my foster family for several months now and I am feeling VERY healthy. We worked months to get my ear infection cleared up, but we finally got it completely taken care of. My ears are better than I can ever remember. I do have a food allergy, so we make sure that I only eat food that doesn’t have wheat or beef in it. My coat doesn’t itch me anymore and my eyes are sparkling.

I have had many great opportunities to socialize with other dogs and their families. My foster family and I go to BarkPark on Saturdays and I go to Doggie Daycare every Wednesday with my foster brother and sister. We go on long walks and explore local state parks. I love playing and exploring with all of my new friends.

I would still love to find my forever family. If you think that I might be someone who would be a good fit with your family, just e-mail my foster mom and she can tell you how wonderful I am. Oh, and I hear at least once a week, “I can’t believe she’s blind, she’s so independent”. Everyone is amazed at how great I do without my sight. I’ve told them, it’s really no big deal to me.

Fondly,

Baby Girl
